Date, Time and Venue of the campaign will be declared after the next GB Meeting. 

Therefore, you are requested to start raising funds for the noble cause, The Pad Project. Donations can be collected in cash by MR / through Online.

NOTICE

This is to notify that New Generation Organization has organized THE PAD PROJECT to undertake FREE SANITARY PAD DISTRIBUTION DRIVE in Tufanganj specifically for young girls of the rural area. This drive would undertake Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management Awareness  Programme and would also distribute Free Sanitary Pads.

We aim to end ‘Period poverty’ by adopting menstruators who cannot afford to buy pads themselves and provide them pads every month. We also educate them to make them confident to speak about periods.

DONATE BLOOD

Beat the myth

Donating blood is safe and simple. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the blood donation process. Any healthy adult between 18 years and 60 years of age can donate blood. This is what you can expect when you are ready to donate blood:

• You walk into a reputed and safe blood donation centre or a mobile camp organized by a reputed institution.

• A few questions will be asked to determine your health status (general questions on health, donation history etc). Usually you will be asked to fill out a short form.

• Then a quick physical check will be done to check temperature, blood pressure, pulse and haemoglobin content in blood to ensure you are a healthy donor.

• If found fit to donate, then you will be asked to lie down on a resting chair or a bed. Your arm will be thoroughly cleaned. Then using sterile equipments blood will be collected in a special plastic bag. Approximately 350 ml of blood will be collected in one donation. Those who weigh more than 60 Kg can donate 450 ml of blood.

• Then you must rest and relax for a few minutes with a light snack and something refreshing to drink. Some snacks and juice will be provided.

• Blood will be separated into components within eight hours of donation.

• The blood will then be taken to the laboratory for testing.

• Once found safe, it will be kept in special storage and released when required.

• The blood is now ready to be taken to the hospital, to save lives.

LOCATION

You have the liberty to work virtually from the comfort of your homes if your internship role permits it.

ELIGIBILITY

The requirements for the internship are very basic.

1- You need to be enrolled in any graduation course or above.

2- Have a growth mindset – You wake up each day with the drive to explore and reach your potential despite the challenges you may face.

DURATION

The internship lasts for four weeks. This time can be extended based on the agreement between you and your mentor.

WORKING HOURS

The best part about the internships at NEW GENERATION ORGANIZATION is the flexibility of time. We provide you with the opportunity of taking your space and time to complete the task at hand.

You have the freedom to handle your timeline as long as the deadlines are met.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process at NEW GENERATION ORGANIZATION is speedy. All you have to do is fill out a form.

A simple screening interview will take place. If Shortlisted, you will be asked to finish a small assignment based on the internship role they are applying for.

Once selected, you will be contacted to get more information about your qualification and interests. You will be assigned a mentor to begin an incredible journey at NEW GENERATION ORGANIZATION.

There will be no financial pay as NEW GENERATION ORGANIZATION is a non-profit organisation. However, you will be provided with a certificate and LinkedIn recommendation at the end of your internship period.
